We all have giants.
They come in different shapes, sizes, and voices.
The good news is this : your giant M U S T fall.
Honestly, it may seem as if you giant is still alive, but it isn’t.
Take a deep breath, cause your giant was TAKEN DOWN. SLAYED. DECLARED DEAD + DEFEATED at the cross.

The giant of fear must fall, the giant of rejection must fall, and the giant of anger must fall.
The only clincher to the story, is that your giant, is dead, yes — but still deadly in a sense. Just as it was prophesied in the very BEGINNING of the Bible, Jesus would come & stomp on the head of the enemy, + he would be DEAD. But his head would still be / still is filled with venom.
When we struggle with our giants, we sometimes mistakingly wish for Jesus to go to the cross all over again. We come to Jesus in prayer and say, “Jesus, I’ve got a giant. Please do something about it right now! Please so something big!” and we want something huge and supernatural and miraculous and brand new to happen.
But that’s crazy, because what we’re really expecting Jesus to say is this: “Fine, I’ll go be whipped and scourged and mocked again for your giant. I’ll travel down that narrow Jerusalem street, carrying a heavy Roman cross for the second time. I’ll take the heavy spikes driven into my hands and feet again. I’ll take hell upon the cross again and cry out again, ‘My God, My God, why have you forsaken me,’ and I’ll have my side pierced with a spear again — all for your giant. My body will be wrapped with heavy embalming cloths, and I’ll be laid out in a borrowed tomb again. I’ll be raised up on the third day again to give you victory over your giant.”
That’s not how it works. Paul says in Romans 6:9, “For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.” – Louie Giglio (Goliath Must Fall (pp. 34–35))
Jesus has ALREADY given us the victory. Although, it is a daily battle of the mind to fight against the dead-but-still-deadly-giant.
Whatever your giant may be — fear, rejection, anger — it is DEAD / yet still deadly.
STAND up today against your Goliath. With Jesus, you’ve got this.
